Bad Luck Lady Bears.

How did the vote turn out for seeding in your district? I assume that Mason County would vote for it.

I would think Bracken and St. Patrick would want it as they should expect to beat Augusta out for the 2nd and 3rd seeds in most years.

That would make it a 3-1 vote and now St. Pat and Bracken Co would just have to worry about getting a win vs each other.

St. Pat doesnt vote to seed and Mason doesnt want to play home and home with the Panthers I dont think.. It would cost them games on their schedule that are more beneficial to them then a seeding.

Most seasons it doesnt matter who they play LBBC

O definitely, it doesn't matter as far as district is concerned for Mason.

But it seems a no-brainer for St. Pat and Bracken to WANT to seed. Best chance for them to be away from Mason in the bracket.

Cracks me up that so many people think that coaches vote for seeding to make the regular season mean something. Horse manure!

It is simply what gives them the best chance to consistently get to regionals. For Bracken and St. Patrick it would be seeding. Funny, that the best team in the region might vote AGAINST seeding so they don't have to play the 6 required games during the season.

I think thats it

Well LBBC that will change in a couple of years because Mason County's girls program takes a nose dive

Temporary drop. Too much athletic ability and resources in that county for them to stay down for long.

Mason County may drop after next year with the loss of Cline, Chambers and Litzinger, but I do know of some very talented 6th, 5th and even a 4th grader that have a very, very probable chance of getting a lot of varsity time as an 8th grader. When these girls make it to high school, their program could be the best it's been in awhile.

That is very scary sportsfan.. because it has been pretty good the last 4 years

Better in the 80's. Of course many things were better in the 80's. The music was better. Television was better. My hairline was better.:D

Don't forget the possibilty of transfers coming to Mason County.
