Great line URIT, but seriously Augusta has had their hands full with the Saints each time they have played so it's going to take a strong team effort to pull off another district victory. Coach Kelsch will have the Panthers ready, it will be up to them to execute.

I know St. Pat would want to seed!!!

I think Bracken and Mason voted to see and St. Pat and Augusta voted not to.. It has to be a majority!

 

Untrue. Seeding was not brought up, at all. The only thing that was up for change was drawing the boys and girls separately, which was tied at 2-2, but a different vote than above. Again, there is no truth at all that seeding was voted on, it wasn't even mentioned in the meeting.

Not in this meeting, but when the new districts were alligned Jonathan thats how it was voted... Or a very good source was confused about this...

If that's the case, it wasn't brought up as part of the agenda this morning. Could still be on the down low, I guess.

Here's a question for anyone that knows...if you do choose to seed, doesn't that involve a home-and-home matchup with each team in the district? Not to sound disrespectful, but does anyone else see Mason County playing at either St. Pat or Augusta? Not because of the competition, but because of the size of the gyms, I mean.

I think that is part of the reason for the Blind draw... Mason doesnt want to play in those places...

That's a good point. Mason County is not going to ever want to seed because that means 6 games on their schedule they do not want. They have no desire to go to Augusta or St. Patrick to play. It's not going to help their state ranking to play any of the 3 teams twice. It's a shame it has to be like this but that's how it is.

True, plus Mason County fans are a good, traveling group. It would be terrible for them to go five minutes downtown (St. Pat) or 20 minutes down the AA (Augusta) to get turned away because of fire regs or whatever. I don't see this as a selfish choice at all.

Hope both teams finish strong,but afraid the draw will have a negative affect on what is left of the season,starting tonight. Playing for pride and character now.

Guess you were off on your predictions for the game tonight All In. Try to keep in mind that you are talking about kids here, they are not superhumans. The young men at BC have come a long way in more ways than one. They have definately developed character that didn't exist in previous years. Give the kids some credit.

 

Why so negative????? Why so eager to see BC done? If you don't care for them, don't post!!

The BC boys know that the season isn't over. They are gonna play hard til the end. I have seen stranger things happen in tournament time.
