? Highly Regarded Broncos Looking To Get The Jump On Defending State Champs

Douglass’ season begins where last season left off: squaring up to the Warhawks. Crossing bested the Broncos by two points in last year's 11th Region final, but the losses of Moreno and Dawson have left the Warhawks as underdogs to kick off the season. Behind guard DaMarcus Surratt (16 ppg), Douglass trails only top ranked St. Xavier in some pre-season polls.

Final. Game was really not as close as the final score Douglass lead by as many as 20 points midway through the 4th quarter sub out some starters and Great Crossing made a run to close out the game.

Frederick Douglass is going to be a load this season.  Great Crossing should find their footing as the new starters get more experience.  Good win for the Broncos on what was a tough opener for both teams.
