2026 Louisville Kings (UFL)

Featured Replies

The UFL Fox broadcast was excellent, all the way around, great picture quality, inside access, commentary, everything.

This has been a lot of fun so far, regardless of the title game outcome.    My youngest son (adult) and I went to the first two home games, and have followed all of the others religiously on TV.     It isn't quite the NFL, for sure, but it's exciting, very competitive, and frankly a lot of the UFL rules make far more sense than the NFL's.

Congrats to the team for the big win over St. Louis today, avenging the regular season loss, and moving them into the championship game against D.C.

If they win, they will have become 1) the first UFL team to start 0-3 and finish with a winning record, 2) the first UFL team to start 0-3 and go to the playoffs, and 3) they will have (if they beat DC) defeated both of their playoff opponents on their opponents' home field.

Along the way, the Kings' kicker set a UFL record, put a defensive player in the final four finalists for league MFP.....

FUN SEASON!

True!  The UFL also finally seemed to figure out that massive amounts of open mics (with the coaches, assistant coaches, referees, players, ad infinitum) isn't really necessary.

Watched a regular season game where almost the entire 3rd quarter only had such "open mic" audio (no announcing)....totally worthless.    This was MUCH better and the announcers were good (though Brock Huard was kind of "Mr. Obvious" on the field.....)

Louisville 27 DC 20

Final.

Louisville is your UFL Champion!!

From Google:

The Louisville Kings defeated the DC Defenders 27-20 in the UFL United Bowl Championship held at Audi Field in Washington, D.C. The Kings secured the title by rallying from a 16-7 halftime deficit with 20 unanswered points, capping off their inaugural season with a six-game winning streak.
