Actually already into the semi-finals as The injury depleted 6 seed Indiana Fever keep finding a way to win and lead the 3 seed Las Vegas Aces 1 -0 in the best of 5 series.  On the other end, the top seeded Minnesota Lynx over come a halftime deficit to beat the Phoenix Mercury and take the 1 - 0 lead.  Games 2 are on Tuesday night.

Games 3 are in the books.  Vegas beats Indiana to take the 2 - 1 series lead.

Phoenix takes game 3 against the top seeded Minnesota Lynx, who are now one game away from elimination.

Indiana wins game 4 at Gainbridge, 90 - 83. Deciding game 5 is Tuesday.

Minnesota and Phoenix tonight. If Phoenix wins, series over and they move onto the finals.  Lynx face the possibility of playing without their top player, Nepheesia Collier who was injured in game 3 and will definitely be without their coach who is suspended for this game following a game 3 ejection and then blasting the refs after.

Phoenix takes out the top seeded Minnesota Lynx with a 86 - 81 Game 4 win to take the series 3 - 1.

They await the winner of Tuesday's Fever/Aces game 5.

Hey is there something else wrong with Clark? I thought it was just a hamstring. If it is it must be the worst in the history of sports, I have never seen anyone miss this long for a hamstring. I just was curious if there was something else the press is very hush, hush about her.

Initial injury was a quad. Came back from that and injured a groin. After a few games out she was back and reinjured the groin and was eventually shut down for the season.  They also lost 2 other PGs, one to a knee and one to a broken foot. Then lost Sophie Cunningham to a torn MCL. Lost a couple other hardship players after that as well.

Appears as though the "injury" was just severe leg cramps.  She was taken to the local hospital for IV fluids.   It's a shame it hit when it did.  Not having your leading scorer late in the 4th and in OT is not a recipe for success.

Phoenix almost overcomes a 17 point 4th quarter deficit, but Vegas takes game 3 and a commanding 3 - 0 series lead with the 90 - 88 win.

Game 4 is Friday.

Vegas completes the series sweep with a 97 - 86 game 4 win over Phoenix.

It is the Aces' third title in the last 4 years.

Thanks for keeping up with the WNBA.  Clark getting hurt and the drama in the WNBA made it unwatchable for me.
