North Laurel Jaguars (2-1) | Lawrence County Bulldogs (3-0, 3A #8)

? Jags And Dawgs Look To Build On Top 10 Wins

An intriguing match-up is on tap in Louisa, as North Laurel visits for the first time ever, fresh off an upset of top ten ranked Madison Central in Richmond. The offense is still suspect, but the defense has been rock solid, stifling the Indians in the 9-7 win.

Lawrence County's offense may pose their sternest challenge yet, coming off a bye week after beating Ashland.

You won't find many offensive units more balanced than what the Bulldogs possess, with averages of 231 yards per game running and 233 passing. QB Luke Fetherolf conducts LC’s symphony of speed and precision, completing an eye popping 85% of his passes for eight touchdowns and zero interceptions.

The Dawgs are enjoying the view with Belfry no longer blotting out the sun. A win here would be a significant RPI grab and open up the path to an unbeaten regular season.

North Laurel is looking to continue building momentum, with a challenging schedule still in front of them.

Lawrence County has an opportunity to make a statement to the voters and grab some precious RPI points.

LC's offense against a very good NL defense is the headline battle. The Dawgs don't have a lot of size, but everybody can run, and the flexbone/spread combo they hit you with can keep a good defense off balance.

North Laurel 13-0 at halftime.
