Weird, sorry for misinformation, a guy at the game texted me it was 50-0 in the 4th quarter.  

 

Here is the stat summary for the game.

Covington Holy Cross dominated the Covington rivalry tonight 48-0 by exceling in all 3 aspects of the game - offense, defense and special teams.

For Holy Cross, KR Thomas Maddox took the opening kickoff 97 yards for a TD (his second game opening KR for a TD for the year).  QB Brian Ferguson was effective in multiple ways again tonight by rushing 5 times for 76 yards and 1 TD.  He also was 5-11 passing for 71 yards and 1 TD.  RB Charles Oglesby ran 10 times for 80 yards and a TD.  RB Trevin Figgs and backup QB Cahlil Johnson added additional rushing TDs.  TE Max Hunt was also in the scoring column having 2 catches for 32 yards and a TD.  The Indians defense forced 3 fumbles and 2 interceptions.  Dustin Wilson returned one of those fumbles for an 8 yard TD in the second quarter.  With the Indians 41 first half points, the running clock was in play.

For Holmes, QB Konscious Johnson was 5-13 for 58 yards and 1 INT.  The Bulldogs were held to -31 yards rushing.

Next Friday night, Covington Holy Cross (4-0) and Holmes (0-4) both have byes.
