Next weekend marks the start of high school football. The preliminary BGP outlook has the highest temperatures expected to occur primarily west of I-65, with temperatures ranging from the upper 80s to the low to upper 90s. By the end of the games, the temperature will drop to the mid- to upper-seventies. The area primarily south of I-64 will see scattered showers and the potential for thunderstorms. I'm covering the period of 5-11 pm EDT. The outlook for the Saturday games will be much of the same, but with the precipitation being mainly in southeast Kentucky.

Southern Kentucky as well it’s going to be hot but not over the top hot and very small to know chance of rain. For a opening Friday I will take that every time.

I've not seen much change in the modeling data from my first post. If anything, the chance for possible precipitation has decreased.
