I know that Dayton was very young and they had a lot of inexperienced players on last year’s team. I assume that a good amount of them are coming back and that there will be some new additions. I’m not sure on any players specifically, but will post as I know more. 

They have most of their schedule made with two more games likely left to schedule going by dates. The schedule so far is:

8/8 at Walton-Verona (assuming scrimmage)

8/15 vs. Holy Cross (assuming scrimmage and first game at Green Devil Stadium if done)

8/22 at Gallatin County 

8/29 vs. Pendleton County

9/12 vs. Ludlow 

10/3 at Iroquois 

10/10 vs. Bellevue 

10/24 vs. Newport 

10/31 vs. Trimble County 

Their game against Newport Catholic will fall between one of the open dates and at least 1-2 more games will likely be scheduled. 

If the new stadium is ready, I would think that the scrimmage against Holy Cross, Ludlow, and Bellevue will draw pretty big crowds.

Bump.

I  know that the Greendevils are going to be young, I don’t know as much about experience with who came back and possible new additions. Will know more after Friday when they scrimmage Holy Cross. I do know that there are a lot of sophomores and heard that the OL is a work in progress.

The grand opening of Greendevil Stadium happened this evening. I couldn’t make it but I have a few pictures. I will be sure to take and post better pictures tomorrow. One of my friends went and said everyone was pumped while there. Dayton, KY has a lot to be excited and proud about!
