Coach Shawn Ransom posted on Facebook this past Friday that he is stepping down as the Paris hoops coach.

His message from Facebook:

Paris community and friends,

Everything happens for a reason. Thanks for everything and all the love shown by most. Loyalty, love, respect, and support go hand in hand. In life you have to stand for something or you will go for anything. That's not how I was raised. With that being said, Paris, thank you for everything. I will not be returning to the sidelines of PHS. Best of luck to all.

Paris used to be a great job.  However, you are in a very tough district.  They can still compete for the All A every year.  They just hired a great football coach.
