After tearing her ACL in the summer and going through rehab Grace Mbugua has been cleared and is back on the court for Danville Christian Academy.  They were having a decent season before her return at 8-4 and since then won the 12th region All A tournament.  Some of the other girls have been playing well in her absence and with her back on the court they should be even that much better.  I hope she can remain injury free and enjoy her senior season.

Good for her! I’m glad she is back to get a few weeks of the schedule played and the post season. I enjoyed watching her at the state tournament last year. 

No other 12th Region team has a shot with her back IMO.

I agree.  She is a great player and a difference maker.  Mercer is the last 12th region team to beat her when they beat DCA in the region tourney back in the 22/23 season.  DCA went undefeated in region play last year.  West Jessamine beat them this year but Grace did not play in that game.  West Jessamine had best chance but have lost two starters for the season.
