I said in the NKY Top 10 thread that this game could be interesting, and WOW, was it ever.  Dixie gets the 13 point win over the Pandas in Edgewood.  

Look forward to some first-hand accounts and details.  Congrats to Dixie!!!

My first girls game this year on your recommendation DD.  Congrats to Dixie on a well played game.  Buddenburg played a tremendous game.  Looked as if Dixie had a game plan and executed it well.  Turnovers a plenty on both sides however contrary to Dixie, Notre Dame looked out of sorts the entire night.  Sure seemed to me at least that Notre Dame was outcoached from the get go.

NDA got down early and couldn’t recover. 
 

Buddenburg with 31! Great leadership by the senior.  Pandas looked uncomfortable all night. Panda Shooters had off night. 
Kudos to Dixie for a dominate win.

Buddenberg has overcome a bunch and is the consummate leader.  Love seeing her have a big night in such a high profile game.  

Notre Dame has a really tough stretch of games coming up with Simon Kenton, Madison Central and Holy Cross, but I'm sure they'll learn a great deal from tonight.

Definitely something to keep an eye on with Notre Dame's upcoming schedule.  They certainly have the talent to beat just about anyone.  Interested to see if Murphy can figure something out better than what I saw tonight.

I think Coach Murphy is ok.  One of the few coaches wearing a state championship ring and he did that with a team that wasn't viewed as a top contender.  Dixie was awesome tonight.  Motivated by a recent loss to Notre Dame and huge performance by a great player,  Catherine Buddenberg..  Great high school basketball experience tonight.  Both teams are contenders in the 9th.  If you didn't know that, well now you do.
