Navy, picked 11th in the preseason American Athletic Conference poll, win the Armed Forces Bowl over SEC newcomer Oklahoma.  The Middies shook off the “We already beat Navy so we’re just happy to be here” blahs after falling behind 14-0 in the first quarter.  Scored the next three touchdowns, then stopped the Sooners on a 2-point conversion after a late OU score with seconds to play.

Navy finishes the season 10-3; OU drops to 6-7. 

The Navy QB was named player of the game. Only went 7-12 with well under 100 yards, but rushed for a pair of scores, one of which was a 95-yarder.
