Congrats Coach!

Congrats Coach Rison! He's not worried about who he's schedules. When they retire him a jersey at Montgomery County it was for all those wins !!! :ylsuper:

Congratulations to Bart Rison. He's not only a great coach, but a great person. It's nice to see good people get rewarded. Good luck with the rest of the season.

Where does this put Coach Rison on the list of active coaches with the most wins?

Congrats Bart. 500 is a milestone a lot of people would like to reach.

According to the KHSAA state records at http://www.khsaa.org/records/basketball/boysbkrecords.pdf, 32 head coaches had reached 500 wins entering the 2006-2007 season. Only three coaches on this list are listed as being active coaches:

667 Ron Bevars - 31 seasons at North Hardin

653 Dale Mabrey - 25 seasons at PRP

649 Billy Hicks - 25 seasons at Evarts, Harlan, Corbin, & Scott Co.

Congratulations Coach Rison for joining this exclusive club! :thumb:
