I always found Henderson to be sort of an enigma.  Clearly he was a great GREAT baseball player.  As mentioned, the greatest leadoff hitter in MLB history.

But, by all reports, a terrible teammate.  But that was according to reporters.  None of his teammates ever said that.  A few have even said the stories that circulate are mostly false.  Not sure anyone really knew the real Rickey Henderson.

Regardless, RIP to one of the best to ever do it.
