The way this one started I thought Lloyd might run away with it. Was that 27 unanswered after being down 21-0?

that's what I call halftime adjustments and a tail of two halves!

Lloyd had the Devils headed for ruin early. The difference in quickness was noticeable and Evans was making accurate, confident throws, one after another. There was little reason to think it wouldn't continue, but the Juggs seemed to hit a wall.

The drive at the end of the first half to get Russell on the board was vital. Then the opening drive of the second half makes it a one possession game and Lloyd looked like a different team after that.

Congrats to Russell on the win and congratulations to Lloyd on a good season. They've got something good going on over there they just need to take that next step.

The story of that senior class has been told many times this year, just not in here. They won one game combined their last two years of middle school. There's only eight of them left, but the one's that have stuck it out are reaping the benefit of the struggle they've endured and the bond that was born of it. There are no standout individuals on that o-line, but they work well together. They're the heartbeat of this team.

They should be very proud they deserve all the accomplishments coming their way in life.
