Russellville reclaimed the top spot in District 1 this season. Russellville will welcome in 4 seed Bethlehem on Friday night. Last year District 2 swept District 1 in the playoffs. Can they do it again? Russellville sits at 5-5 on the season while Bethlehem does too. These teams are about the complete opposite on how they finished the season. Russellville started off 1-4, and finished winning 4 of its last 5 games to make them 5-5. Bethlehem did the complete opposite going 4-1 in the first 5 games then losing 4 of its last 5 to make them 5-5. Both teams have played a solid schedule this season.

Who wins this first round playoff matchup?

Bethlehem loses to good teams and bears mediocre and bad teams. I think District 2 completes the sweep again.

I think Bethlehem gets the win but it wouldn't surprise me to see home-standing Russellville, who has played much better the second half of the season, make this a close ballgame.
