PT (10-0) Breckinridge (3-7)

A rematch of the first round from last season in the first round, a Tilghman victory 70-0. 

Breckinridge averaged 19.8 ppg on the season and allowed 44.0 a game. Tilghman averaged 49.8 and allowed 7.9. 

Breckinridge was run heavy this season, keeping it on the ground twice as much as they threw the ball. 

As I do every season, no matter if it's in the first round or in the Championship Game, I feel bad for all the Seniors who go out with a loss in their last game. It's tough even when you win it all, just the finality of it all. In all likelihood, Tilghman is going to win this game, so I would like to give a shout-out to all the Seniors on this Breckinridge Fighting Tigers team.

Cody Carpenter, Grant Compton, Hunter Davis, Devin Dean, Luke Hardesty, Wilson Hart, Adain Medley, Matthew Montgomery, Lance Poole. I remember when my son played his last game and I cried like a baby, so many memories that flood your thoughts. You guys go be great in whatever it is that you do in your next chapter and give it everything you've got in this game.

    I saw in the Sun where LB Mooney is out for this one.  I heard it’s an ankle injury. Hopefully he’ll be able to return in the next couple weeks because he’s pretty key to this PT defense!

    Kid is a stud for sure.. hope he can have a fast recovery.

    Radio broadcast mentioned that they heard someone say It was agreed to start the running clock at 28. I guess we shall see.
