He doesn't show up in the top 50 of the states rushing leaders because running clocks and a slew of other weapons on the team, but Demauriah Brown is quietly putting up some eye popping numbers this season, but especially over the past 5 games.

On the year, through 9 games, he has 70 carries for 856 yards and 11 TD. That's 12.23 ypc on the season and a TD for roughly every 6 times he touches the ball.

 

Over that last 5 games the numbers get video game like.

25 total carries for 539 yards and 8 TDs.

that's 21.56 ypc and a TD for roughly every 3 rushing attempts 

Some of his game lines have looked like this

2 carries, 110 yds, 2 TDs 

4 carries 124 yds, 2 TDs

4 carries 90 yds, 2 TDs

Would love to see the numbers he could put up if he were getting to carry the ball more than he is.

 

Haddix is smart, he will have a fresh Demauriah Brown in the playoffs and the carries will go up. Boyle starters have only played a full game twice this year. I can see Brown running for around 1,500 if they make the State finals. 

He'll get his chance for more carries this Friday I would think.

His numbers would likely look similar to his numbers at Danville his sophmore year.

192 touches for 2038 yds at 29 TDs.

That was 169.8 yds/g with 10.6 yds per touch and 1 TD for roughly every 7 touches.
