Halftime

East Carter 7

Russell 6

Both teams scored on their opening possession, but neither really threatened again. Very competitive, even game so far.

Russell starts the 2nd half with a nice drive but it stalls and the get a 25 yard FG and lead the Raiders now 9-7 with 4:34 left in the 3rd quarter.

Clutch drive by Russell to potentially put this one away. Kaden Benge doing the heavy lifting for the Devils on the ground.

23-14 ?

2:13 left

East throws an interception and that will do it. Congrats to Russell on being the district champs. It was good fun game to watch.
