Holy Cross Cougars (2-3) | Nelson County Cardinals (2-4)

? Cardinals Try To Avoid The Turnover Bug That Bit Them A Year Ago

• Ball security will be at a premium for both squads, but in particular for the Cardinals. They turned it over five times in last year's four point loss to Holy Cross. Quarterback Kam Morley has been pick-happy in a couple of Nelson's games this season.
• Can Cougars QB Jerek Hoover build on his last outing? Facing the best opponent he's seen this year, Hoover turned in a season best performance: 22/29 for 222 yards and 4 TDs with 0 INTs against Atherton.
• After scoring 70 combined points in Weeks 1-4, Nelson County has totaled 100 o er the last two games.

Series History ?: Last year's meeting, a 14-10 Holy Cross win, is the first between the two since at least 1998.
