Reds at Cubs (9/27 - 9/29)

Featured Replies

The Reds (76-83) start the last series of the season in about 20 minutes at the Cubs (81-78). All 3 games are afternoon games. The Reds are currently ahead of the Pirates by 2 games to stay out of last place in the central division. I guess that is something to play for as well as personal stats at this point. Go Reds!

Unreal the team won 76 or 77 games with hitting like that. The team batting average for the season is currently .231.

Reds after my above post score 3 in the top of the 10th after 28 innings without scoring to defeat the Cubs 3-0 in 10 innings. The Reds finish 2024 with a 77-85 record. The Pirates and Yankees are tied at 4 through 5 innings if the Pirates win them and the Reds will tie for last place in the central.
