Knox Central 33 Danville 0

Featured Replies

The losing streak goes to 17 for the Ads as they once again have lots of offensive woes.  Knox just ran the ball all over the field, led by sophomore Brayden Sizemore, and grinded clock.  Some missed extra points kept this from being a running clock by the fourth quarter.

The Ads have been shutout their last 3 games, so that's 12 quarters of scoreless football.  The Ads hurt their big gains with personal fouls.  There were times they moved the ball better than previous games but they kept stalling out.  The lack of ability to much in the passing game is letting teams hone in on the run.  Trinden Sellers got tossed at halftime with 2 personal fouls.  Credit to K.J. Dismeaux for stepping up for some good gains.

In some ways this is a kick in the teeth for Danville fans who thought this could be a winnable game at the beginning of the year.

Admirals (0-5) will get a bye next week so they can hopefully regroup before they have to play Campbellsville in a Thursday game on October 3.

Knox Central goes above .500 with the win, which is their third straight.  They also have a bye next week and will play McCreary County (3-1) on October 4.

I have to give you credit Danvillefan you are a true fan to keep getting on here posting the scores and giving your opinion is the sign of a true fan. Just stick with it better times are coming.

I second this.

I pray better days are ahead for the Danville program.
