Do you know when RH girls are supposed to play again?

Coach Euton is trying to get a game this week. She has a couple of schools that possibly will have an open date.

Later in the Week, right?

I am not sure. I can only hope if it is an away game it would be this weekend.

Little effort today and even less discipline.

What do you mean by this Himmelfarb? I know that you are close to the team. Is the team playing undisiplined basketball or do they look undisicplined in their appearance and attitude? There is a difference.

You've seen it before...hair out of place, smeared make-up, no lipstick, socks that don't match..:D Just kidding.

Among other things, I mean their lack of patience on the offensive end of the floor and the refusal by some to defend. I trust that it had much to do with Laura's absence and that others were feeling ill as well (one I know quite well).

I don't agree with Uncle Jed's assessment that this team can still be great, but one can't forget the effort they put forth against LexCath. Let's hope this bunch can find the same motivation the rest of the way.

The seniors need to be leaders, support the coach, encourage the younger players, and take some pride in their TEAM and school. They can still be a great team.

I don't want to bang a hornets nest with a stick, but I do want to comment on some of the responsibility that is being thrown at the seniors on this team.

1. I agree that seniors need to be leaders.

2. I agree that the young players need to be encouraged.

3. Yes, everyone on the team needs to take pride.

Now, it's easy to be judgemental of these things as we watch from the bleachers, but unless you're at practice, in the locker room, at the school, on the floor, in the huddle, etc.; you can't really make a judgement as to whether these things exist and if they don't, why not.

The dynamic of this team has been on a rollercoaster for the past two years.

I've seen it suggested that the seniors need to step up and lead. I've seen it posted that the seniors need to rebel and do what they want on the court. Are you kidding?

I've personally seen coaches sit on the bench during an entire timeout with nothing to say. I've seen players pulled from the game without any encouragment and/or instruction given. I've seen tantrums thrown on the floor without being addressed. I've heard about coaches remaining on the bench during the entire half time.

Yes, this team needs leadership. It also needs an example set for these impressionable teenage girls to look up to and learn from. Yes, someone needs to step up and lead the way. I'm waiting to see it happen.

I would be surprised if there was a response until after 3:30.

This Walrus character is a sly one. I've had to become quite the sleuth.

Unless he's in detention, in which case it will be sometime after 4:00...and as TheWalrus himself would put it...  :bunny: :bunny:  :dancingpa :thumb:

Looks like detention unless he shows up shortly.:flame:
