Oldham County Colonels (4-0) | South Oldham Dragons (3-1, 5A #10)

South Tries To Sew Up Another County Championship Against Unbeaten Colonels

After turning away North Oldham's bid for county supremacy, the Dragons turn their gaze to the Colonels in an effort to keep the local gridiron glory in the grasp of their scaly fist. South Oldham is seeking its ninth county crown in the last ten years, but have to beat back another challenge from an undefeated rival.

Oldham County kept alive its unblemished start to the season behind 378 yards from scrimmage by running back Jayden Corum last week against Collins.

It was the Dragons who piled on the rushing yardage when these two met a year ago, gaining 341 yards on 42 carries in South's 50-21 win over the Colonels. South Oldham's secondary compounded OC's struggles that night, picking off quarterback Derek Dees three times.

Last week, it was Crestwood. Buckner now takes the baton for the second, and if South wins, final leg of the Oldham County championship.

Series History: South Oldham leads 15-12 since 1998 | The Dragons have won 12 of the last 13
