Admirals long losing streak goes to 13 (dating back to 2022).

East Jessamine abused the Ads with a lot of slant routes in the passing game.  Ads defense on some run plays in short down situations was better than last year, though.  Seemed like the Ads just tired out in the 2nd half and that let East Jessamine put the game out of reach.

However, penalties are still too many.  That's been an issue with the Ads for years and needs to be cleaned up.  It just killed a few of their drives.

Naythan Doyle, a freshman, was used a lot by the Ads as a QB.  Seems to have an arm.  Just needs to make some better reads/work on timing.  Sophomore Trinden Sellers made some good offensive plays.  Senior Josiah Israel was good defensively.

Ads will be a big underdog against Pulaski next week.

I don't see Danville getting a win this year. This was the only game on there schedule that I thought they could might get a win.

I did feel better about some of the talent/team versus last year based on the game tonight so I think they might be able to take a win somewhere.  Probably not next week, though, against a retooled Pulaski team that will be hot over that close loss to Beechwood.

I just don't want to see another winless season.  Last year was bad enough.
