Reds at Pirates (8/22 - 8/25)

Featured Replies

The Reds (62-65) take on the Pirates (59-67) in a 4-game series in Pittsburgh this weekend. The Reds come into the game after winning 2 of 3 in Toronto. The Pirates lost two out of three games to the Rangers in Texas.

Once again, the new breed of Reds can beat the Cardinals all year long, but can't seem to handle the Pirates.

Pittsburgh wins, 7-0

Reds lose today 4-3 as Diaz gave up a walk off 2-run homer in the bottom of the 9th. The Reds drop 3 out 4 to the Pirates. Next up for the Reds after an off-day tomorrow is a 9-game home stretch with 3 vs. the A's, 3 vs. Brewers, and 3 games over 4 days vs. the Astros.

Not getting any easier.  And why is there just a random off day on September 3?

I was wondering about that as well. All I could come up with is they were due a day off and that is Labor Day so play on Monday then off Tuesday. That's the best I could come up with.

Skenes is good enough, the Umps don't need to help him out and give him that pitch too.

This was a called 3rd strike.

Bring on Robo-Ump!!!
