Reds at Rays (7/26 - 7/28)

The Reds (49-53) travel to Tampa to take on the Rays (52-51) for a weekend series. The games for this series has some strange times the game tomorrow is at 6:50pm and the game Saturday is at 4:10pm and the Sunday game is at 11:35am. Go Reds!

Reds and Rays are tied at 2 through 4 1/2 innings. The Reds get their 2 runs off a Candelario double.

Still tied at 2-2 after 7 1/2 innings. The Reds are lucky to be tied with only 2 hits through 7 innings.

Reds win 3-2 in 10 innings on a double by Fairchild scoring Slater. Good win and a great job by the pitching staff to get the win on only 3 hits. The game tomorrow is at 4;10pm.

Reds are trailing 4-0 to the Rays through 4 1/2 innings.

Reds fall 4-0 this afternoon to the Rays. The bats have gone cold so far in 19 innings so far in this series they have a grand total of 7 hits. At least they have split the first two of the series. The rubber match of the series is tomorrow with a strange start time of 11:35am.

Hunter Greene pitching a no hitter through 6 innings. Unfortunately, no one knows where the game is being televised so nobody watching it.

Reds lose 2-1. In the 8th, leading 1-0, Cruz and Sims walk three, through a wild pitch and the Reds commit another error. One infield hit in the inning and the Rays score two runs to get the win.

That said, a ton of the blame for another loss due to the Reds terrible offense.

Another horrible series and the trade deadline is fast approaching.   Time to start thinking about who isn't going to be here in a week or so.   I'd think India is probably out the door, somewhere.
