Coach Ellis announced today he was stepping down on Social Media.

Isaiah Britt is the new head boys coach at Shawnee. Britt played at Kentucky State and has been operating the R.U.N. Reviving Urban Neighborhoods basketball league on Louisville's west end since 2019. The R.U.N. league is a basketball league that focuses on involving men ages 18-35 and includes a course of speakers presenting on college opportunities, financial planning, job and military opportunities and other life skills for the league participants.

Sounds like a great role model for the kids at Shawnee.

Best of luck to the new coach. It really seemed like Ellis had the program moving in the right direction. Hopefully Britt can continue that trajectory.
