My goodness did the Valkyries turn up the defense in the 2nd quarter! They held the high powered Lady Cards scoreless in the 2nd quarter. Actually GRC did not score since the 1:20 mark of the 1st period when they went up 21-10 on Sacred Heart and since then the Valkyries have outscored GRC 16-0.

What a turn around.  Even though it is close it is hard to imagine a GRC comeback.

    Sacred Heart leads 29-23 with 5:30 left in the 3rd quarter.

    To close out the 3rd quarter after the media timeout at 2:28 SH closed out the quarter on another run this one a 9-2 run to lead now 42-32 after 3 quarters.

    Timeout GRC with 6:02 to play with Sacred Heart now leading 45-32.
