These teams will be meeting for the 4th time this season.  Results:

• Dec. 15th Somerset 49-47
• Jan. 26th Pulaski Co. 63-56
• Feb. 29th 47th District Championship Somerset 55-52

It will be super tall task for Somerset to bounce back from last night's semifinal, but this team has been very resilient all season long.  The Maroons have been as well.  Both teams have navigated injury problems, and both coaches have done a great job tweaking their defensive systems to get their teams to this point.

Should be a great game. The place will be absolutely packed. Pulaski County High School is just the perfect place for a regional tournament. I’m excited to see the senior guards go at it in Whitaker and Blankenship.

I think 2 of the top 4 coaches in the region made it to the finals. I expect both teams to be well prepared and I’m sure they will be a little tired. But they’re 15 to 18 year old kids, and many of them are used to playing 3 games/day with their travel basketball teams. I don’t think that will be a major factor come game time. 
 

I expect a great, close game. Somerset by 3.
