I was very impressed with Evangel Christian last night. They are big and athletic. I believe they win the 6th region and will be a tough out at Rupp.

Would you say they're better this year without Cyr Malonga, or is the 6th Region down a little from last season?

@DevilMayCare I would not say the 6th is down at all. Evangel was the best team last year as well they just lost to a very good DeSales team in a great game in the Semi Finals. I think this team is better than last year with their experience and the two great guards got better and even though they lost Malonga they added a great freshman in Davier White.

Larry Miller adding Richard Gatewood as his assistant I think also helps this team as that dude can flat coach.

I don't think the coaching part has ever been the issue.  He absolutely knows the game.

@LethalPG Oh Larry Miller is a great coach! Just saying adding a good assistant in Richard Gatewood who has been head coach several places and took a team to Rupp is a good assistant to have.

My comment was in relation to Coach Gatewood.  He’s a ball coach no doubt!
