Well we have made it to the last week of the regular season! I still believe that Evangel has to be considered the favorite even though their schedule was not as tough as some of the other teams and they have not played the toughest competition inside the region but with that being said they are extremely talented. My top 4 teams remain the same but I must drop Butler as they have fell apart down the stretch of the season. There are three teams that have really caught fire that are my upset teams to watch that is Jeffersontown whos is doing exactly what they have the last two seasons when winning the region and that is getting hot at the right time, Fern Creek and Moore are also playing well at the end of the year! I am looking forward to the districts and regional tournament. The best first round game of district play will be my # 4 ranked and #5 ranked teams in the region squaring off in Holy Cross and Beth Haven and one of them will not make regional tournament.

It seems like the 6th Region always has a ton of good teams and no clear favorite. The region champion has been a surprise team a few times, too. Evangel looks like the favorite here, but will they get to Rupp?

I saw them at the All A but it was against Murray, who didn't have the athleticism to keep up with Evangel. The second half turned into a layup line and dunk fest. I know there are teams in the 6th Region that can compete with them, but I'm with you, this might be their year.

There honestly isn't anyone in the 6th as athletic as them.

Same as last year.

There was no one as athletic as them and they couldn’t finish the deal.

This year MAY be different but there are 3 or 4 teams that can compete/beat them.

@Falcon Pride they lost a very tough game in the semi finals last year to DeSales so nothing wrong with that just did not quite get it done. This year I believe they will.

Time will tell.

It looks as though JTown is rounding into form AGAIN and will be a tough out!

@Falcon Pride Jeffersontown is playing much better since they got a couple transfers eligible and will be tough. They have a big game first game of the district against Bullitt East that will not be easy. They played this past week with Jtown winning 58 to 52
