Small venues provide can provide a great home court advantage. Cameron Indoor is well known, but you couldn't host the LIT there. LOL

Baylor SID told me before the game they purposely downsized to a capacity of 7500 to create a more intimate atmosphere with the fans right on top of the court. Furthest seats from the court are 60 feet closer than the furthest seats in their old Foster Center. 

There's still some construction going on around the arena outside but it is one of the nicer facilities I've been in.

Those pictures reminded me of when NKU's arena opened, although I'm pretty sure their (NKU) arena is bigger than this one. Still an intimate vibe though.

Yea, NKU seats around 8 or 9k. Bigger arena without the upgrades of Baylor's new facility.
