He was notified today of the honor. He is just the 8th Wildcat to receive the honor. The last was Art Still in 2015. He will be honored next December in Las Vegas. This is the culmination of a long list of honors. Couch was the 1995 National High School Football player of the year. He was the SEC player of the year in 1998 and was also the #1 overall pick in the 1999 NFL draft. Congratulations to Tim Couch!

Boy he was so much fun to watch during his tenure at UK.  Mad props to him for staying in state and really resurrecting the UK Football program.  Had some lean years prior to Tim.  I can still feel the excitement when UK beat Alabama and storming the field and ripping the goal posts down.  

Sad that his NFL career was plagued by being drafted by the Browns.....he certainly was a talent.

Good for him and he’s more than deserving. It is awesome that he chose to stay home in the state, he truly could have went anywhere. Tim Couch definitely did bring UK football to a different level.
