DeSales led the battle of the horses from start to finish, but Douglass kept it respectable, and was within 5-7 points of the Colts at a few different points in the game.

Very respectful game for Frederick Douglass missing arguably their best player.

Will Gibson is named player of the game.

Desales is very good and will be very hard to beat in the 6th but Evangel Christian is loaded as well.

Do not understand Gibson getting player of the game at all.

My thoughts exactly. I was looking at the stat sheet and...well...I guess they forgot Damone King was playing for DeSales? Lol

Gave it to him just because he is committed to Liberty.

IMO, I would say they have a tendency to give it to the "big-name" kids on a team even if they may not have had been the best player that night.
