I think that Breathitt is one of the top teams in the mountains it sounds like you need to take a closer look at breathitt they are 17-1 Ithink they have beat about the same teams as JBS or better team.

Breathitt hasnt played near the schedule JBS has, JBS has played Mason County, Trinity, Lexington Catholic, Bell County, and a Pendleton Co. team that just beat Brossart, Breathitt has played Hazard, and thats about it, JBS has played a schedule alot harder than Breathitts

JBS has played a tougher schedule than Breathitt. JBS has likely played the toughest schedule in the 14th region. IMO, Breathitt would get beat by JBS, Hazard & Perry Central (yes PCC) if they played tonight.

How I see the top 10

1. South Laurel(13-5, unbeatin in mountain play)

2. June Buchanan-(14-3, won the WYMT)

3. Shelby Valley-(16-1, very good team, and they beat Bell already)

4. Bell County-(14-2, losses to SV and JBS, wins over Cumberland and Perry)

5. Paintsville-(11-4, plays SL today, 10 point loss to Henry Clay)

6. Breathitt County-(17-1, not a great schedule so far)

7. Hazard-(12-5, wins over Perry and Breathitt, losses to Perry and Breathitt)

8. Clay County-(12-3, 53-46 win over Cumberland)

9. Perry Central-(11-6, wins over Hazard,KCC and Leslie, loss to Hazard)

10. Belfry-(12-5, win over Johnson Central, losses to Powell and Pikeville)

thats how I see it, the 10 spot could go to alot of teams, Cumberland,Southwestern, Corbin

The bolded means squat...

The bolded means squat...

Leslies and Knott's records are not the best(6-13 and 6-8) but they are to very solid teams, when Mosley is hott, Knott is a dangerous team, and same thing for Leslie with Hubbard,Leslie played Bell to a 3 point game, and Knott played JBS to a 5 point game, and Perry to a 3 point game, Leslie and Knott are to solid 14th region teams, they can give any team in the region trouble on any night

Breathitt Beat hazard in the second game and should have beat hazard them in the first They lead by 7+ most of the game they shut Justin hicks down and thats what they are agoing to do to Clark Stepp Just wait and see. The only reason perry county beat hazard is becasue they got lucky the bulldogs had a bad game.

.k.

Breathitt hasn't played a game with anyone that can beat Pendleton or Bell Co. much less stay within 20 of Catholic or Mason Co. There schedules don't even come close. Best 2 wins are by a total of 3 points against Hazard.

Boys take a big look at Pendleton countys big 4-8 recored they are on a role look at them big time teams that they have played. Bell county has also has played some big time teams. I don think Breathitt would have any Problems with Pendleton County.

I ant putting stepp down but he is a ballhog If he would pass the ball more they would have a better team he trys to be a one man show and he is

going to haft to change his ways to play college ball

I agree, he does seem to be a ball hog at times, I'm not arguing that. I just don't think Breathitt will shut down Stepp like you said. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. We'll see.

Most of Breathitts players are the ones that won the middle school state championship. But they were mostley holdbacks. But so is JBS mostely holdbacks. Breathitt has 2 seniors one starter which is brandon hays.

The five Starters are

G- Nick Noble

SG- Justin Hollan

SF-Aaron Combs-Fugate

PF-Brandon Hays

C- Travis Smith

Well did you see PCC and Hazard play the 1st two games and your going to tell me PCC didnt have a bad game. If you shut down Clark then Tate Cox will just have 30 and Breathitt will still lose.
