Impressive start for the Shamrocks as won without the Western transfers who haven't been ruled eligible yet.

Drae Vasser had 40 for T and Damone King had 37 for  the home-standing Colts, per Jason Frakes.

The Western transfers are just waiting for the KHSAA Commissioner to sign off on the order.   I erroneously thought this would be done today.

The Colts had their chances, but some of their key players just went cold. Credit to the Rocks defense. Drae Vasser is the real deal, but then again DeSales' guard Damone King is also!  The Colts play on the road next at Ballard. That should be another good contest. Hopefully, the Colts will shoot a bit better next time. Should be an interesting season!

TRINITY               10          21          20          12          12 - 75

DESALES             17          17          10          19          8 - 71

Trinity (1-0) – Drae Vasser 40, Jayden Johnson 10, Alex Johnson 9, Avery Frasher 8, Lance Chandler 5, Rocco Pfeifer 3.

DeSales (1-1) – Prince Kahnplaye 16, Brady Cummins 3, Logan Tharp 7, Landon Thompson 2, Damone King 37, Will Gibson 6.

There was a big kid (I'm guessing 6'8") who played 8th grade basketball at St. Raphael  (a Catholic parish school) last year.  There was some talk that he might go to DeSales.   Does anyone know where he is going to high school now?   I'm sorry but I do not know his name.

But that's not official & I did not see the Freshman game.
