That’s a 1st! I have never heard that call, but did tonight at the Highlands/North Laurel game, anyone else? Anyone know about that call?

Must have been more than 15 yards to gain for a first down!

It was second and 20. No automatic first in KHSAA.

    The only automatic 1st down in high school football are the roughing penalties! 

    Roughing the snapper, holder, kicker, quarterback. 

    All other fouls you must get the line to gain in order to be a first down!
