I find it odd that people care about this.  These exhibitions are practice scrimmages against other teams.   And for participating, those teams get their seasons paid for.

I understand all of that. My point was more about Cal saying that they haven't worked on zone offense at all, three days before the season starts.

I don't think that's the case.  He just wanted to see what his guys could do cutting to the basket.  Said that his guys are all used to play with the ball in their hands rather than off the ball.

Just taking him at what he said...that they hadn't worked against a zone yet.
