:thumb: :thumb: You are correct Frances and Thank You. W/O the defens of Katelynd and Paige Porter this was a different ball game imo. K. porter is a defensive "ace", she usualy draws the opponets best and does a great job.

I don't want to shortchange any of the Ramblerettes. Obviously, I didn't attend the game, and it is obvious from the comments on this thread that many of them played extremely well. My point is only that basketball is won on both ends of the floor. A basket denied is worth just as much as a basket scored.

Again - congrats to Raceland. Bobby Trimble is a gem, and the girls appear to enjoy playing for him. Just as it should be.

:thumb: :thumb: You are correct on all points made Frances! All of these girls contibute and that is what make them a "team". B. Keeton also is very valuble to the Ramblerettes an deserves mention as well. Raceland imo can go 8-9 deep and all are important.

Great win for the Lady Rams. Coach Trimble had a game plan and stuck to it. If his team was going to get beat it wasn't going to be by Faulkner,Terry or Queen. I would say good luck on Saturday but instead I will say congratulation on winning the All "A" 16th Region.
