East had the ball inside Russell's 5 but the clock expired. Poor clock management? Champlin was not happy. He may have been trying to signal a timeout and the officials didn't notice.

I wasn't sure it looked like Yoak picked up a first down on the that run on the last play, but they did not stop the clock I saw the official by the tackle motion to stop the clock. It was very strange and you can't have that happen in game like this.

I think he needed to get inside the 4 and came up a half yard short. Maybe Champlin thought it was close enough for a measurement?

It is strange how officials are different in different areas I just saw a kid from Russell take his helmet off on the field after a play and Douglass in their game vs. Corbin had a kid ejected for taking theirs off.

This game has been really good I would not be surprised to see these two playing again in a few weeks.

East is methodically moving the ball down the field a few yards at a time, moving the chains and eating clock. Ball at the Russell 31.
