@Breds82I’ll take all the Boo’s, looks too gaudy for my liking is all.

I’m not familiar with Ludlow and have no idea how good/bad of a program they have, but I am familiar with Warren East, and when they decided to get their blue turf it seemed to of have added an extra boost of effort from opponents. Teams come in and look to exert dominance for what they believe to be a wealthy, enriched program which unfortunately for Raiders fans and the community is not the case at all.

I don't think any reasonable person would presume that Ludlow is a wealthy or enriched program or city - certainly not their District rivals. If a visiting team needs "colored plastic" as bulletin board material, idk ...

Happy that the Panthers were able to gather the resources to upgrade both of their fields. Imo this is a game changer; lots to be proud of there.

If Dayton comes through with their new stadium/Davis Field plans, I hope they choose a Deep Greendevils Green turf.

Fingers crossed on Bellevue, one of the two remaining NKY (B-K-C) schools playing on grass, adding some yellow accents that pop when it's their turn for Gilligan Stadium.

New Cath - when(?) its complex comes to fruition, I've read it too will have turf. Royal Blue and Gold is a great combo and should look every bit as good as Lloyd Memorial's Dees Field.

Be nice to see all four river schools with state titles on state of the art playing surfaces.

I couldn’t even tell you where Ludlow is honestly, so I wouldn’t know if they are or are not wealthy or even an enriched program. As a former player and coach if I were to go in there, I would assume that the community loves their ball and coming from a school who didn’t have those nice things, it does indeed create a chip on the shoulder.

Personally I was just speaking from the Warren East perspective, and with them being in Bowling Green which is one of the bigger cities in our great state of KY, and seeing their nice facilities and trademarked blue field, one may assume that the Raiders and their community are well off, which would in fact be false. The Warren County board of education built a brand new school (South Warren) before cleaning up the ones already standing (Warren Central/Warren East)
