New college clock rules are in place this season. Basically the clock no longer stops on a first down as the chains reset until the last two minutes of each half.

This has caused each game to have on average something like 10 to 12 less snaps per game.

So do you like this change or not?

Follow up question: Should a 2 minute warning (clock stoppage) be added to college football?

I like the change solely from a player safety point-of-view.  I remember reading 5 or so years ago that because of the constant clock stoppages that college teams were running 15-20 more plays than their NFL counterparts and that's a problem.

I don't think the 2 minute warning needs to be added.  I like what college has now where the old clock stoppage on first down is still in effect for the last 2 minutes of each half.  That is still good for drama without making some games a 4+ hour slog (PAC-12 and Air Raid teams I'm looking at you).

Hasn't impacted any of the games I have watched so I haven't really though about it.
