Holy Cross 2 Beechwood 1

Featured Replies

Holy Cross avenges a 9-1 loss just a week and a half ago to advance to the district finals against Covington Catholic.

That is turning the tables in a BIG way...congrats to Holy Cross.

Good luck in the 9th Region Tourney. I believe this is HC's first appearance in the 9th Region Tourney since the "odd" season of 2020.

I just keep thinking of this turn around.  Relative to High School boys soccer I just can't believe this could ever happen.  Unless there were SEVERAL players out for HC in the 9-1 game or if Bwood was missing SEVERAL players out last night.  If this was the same personnel for both teams both games, WOW!!!!!

Congrats to HC!!!!!

Third hand info but what I was told was it was 3-1 beechwood at the half in the first game and shortly into the second half one of HC’s better players got a red card and there was significant subbing by HC after that and the game got out of hand.
