Warren East 33 Hopkinsville 12

Featured Replies

The Raiders held a 20-0 lead at halftime, and coasted in the 2H to get the win at home this Friday night. The scoring opened up with a Raiders Pick 6 for the Tigers opening drive. Offensively Hopkinsville just couldn’t get anything going, their two scores were a capitalization off of good field position and a kickoff return TD. Raiders were able to find WR Tray Price (SR) through the air with some big gains downfield which has been missing all season long, but the rushing attack was there for Warren East as 4 different Raiders crossed the end zone.

Warren East (4-2) will host rival Allen County Scottsville (2-4) next Friday night, Hopkinsville (0-6) will look to grab their first win of the season as they will welcome Calloway County (2-4) into the Stadium of Champions.

Needed that if you’re East, but this upcoming four game stretch is going to be daunting I’m afraid.
I could see them beating Allen as they’ve had their number the past couple of games, however I wouldn’t call them the favorites for that game. But, other than that…. Not promising.

I think district 1 is a very good district in 4a and all 3 teams (ACS, East Logan) behind PT will be very tough outs in the playoffs
