1st & 10 Gutierrez-Jacobs fakes a screen and tosses it to Sellers for a 66-yard TOUCHDOWN, providing the Ads with yet another quick strike TD in this game.

Danville converts the kick via Wilcher.

West Jessamine leads 26-20 in the 3rd quarter.

Colts take the kickoff to their 31-yard line.

1st & 10 Smith is SACKED for a 5-yard loss by Norris.  2nd & 15 screen play to Welch but Welch only manages one yard.  Admirals have a player (Alcorn) down with a cramp.  3rd & 14 is what is left but there is a timeout by the Colts.

3rd & 14 Smith throws to Nichols but the ball is knocked out of Nichols' hands by Smith so the Colts will need to punt.

Punt is wobbly, going to the Ads' 35-yard line where it is declared dead.

1st & 10 Baughman rushes for seven yards.  2nd & 3 Baughman takes a low snap for four yards and a first down.

On the second set of downs, Gutierrez-Jacobs throws to Trumbo to open things but the pass is incomplete.  2nd & 10 Baughman gets a two-yard gains on a run.  3rd & 8 Baughman only gets two yards.

Ads decide to go for things on 4th & 6 and Gutierrez-Jacobs throws into double coverage for Sellers and it is incomplete.  A flag is thrown, declaring that the Ads have an ineligible man downfield.  Colts decline.

Colts will take over on downs.

1st & 10 Smith hands to Grier for a no-gain.  2nd & 9 Smith keeps it and runs to the left and gets eight yards.  3rd & 2 Smith bumbles the ball and is unable to convert.  West Jessamine decides to go for in on 4th & 2 Smith does a hard count and rushes up the gut to the Ads' 18-yard line to CONVERT.

On the second set of downs, Colts are stopped on a run and the third quarter is over.

With one quarter to play, West Jessamine still leads 26-20.

Fourth quarter opens with Colts quarterback Smith rushing to the 11-line line on second down to get to 100 yards rushing for the evening.  3rd & 3 but trainers are attending to an injured Danville player.

Play resumes after the Ads player (Moody) leaves the field.  Smith fakes the handout and throws an INTERCEPTION.  Trumbo picks it off in the end zone.  That makes 4 turnovers tonight for the Admirals defense.

Baughman sounds like he's a load.  Is he related to Jerome Baughman that played there in the 80s?  He ran an interception back for a touchdown against us in the state semifinals when the Admirals eliminated us in my last game at Somerset.

On the second set of downs, Maynard catches a pass for 2 yards.  2nd & 8 Welch rushes for six yards into Admiral territory.  3rd & 2 Smith rushes up the gut for a big gain to the Admirals' 26-yard line.

Third set of downs, Ads jump on the Colts' hard count and that will move West Jessamine up 5 yards to the 21-yard line.  1st & 5 Welch rushes for a first down to the 11-yard line.  Norris for the Ads is holding his knee and referees blow a whistle so he can exit the field.

Fourth set of downs, Smith keeps the ball and rushes for a six yard gain to the 5-yard line.  2nd & 4 Smith rushes for a TOUCHDOWN to regain the lead.

Colts opt to go for two.  Smith throws to the goaline to Maynard, who stretches to get in and CONVERT.

West Jessamine leads 34-27 with 5:32 to play.

Kickoff gets to Trumbo, who picks up the ball and is brought down at the Ads 34-yard line.

Not sure about the family relation.  He's having a great game, though, on both sides of the ball!

Ads have all three of their timeouts.  Announcers joking that wasn't always the case for the Ads late in games last year.

1st & 10 Baughman has nowhere to go and only gets a yard.  2nd & 9 Gutierrez-Jacobs looks for Trumbo but the pass falls incomplete.  3rd & 9 sees a screen set up but Gutierrez-Jacobs throws an interception to Mason.  Flags litter the field for a pass interference as Trumbo is tackled before he can make a play on the ball.  The Colts run the ball up to the 20 or so and then the Ads have a facemask when making the tackle.  Referees trying to clear everything up.
