Very cool @1959! I've always been kind of a geek about unis/helmets. Here's a graphic I helped put together for Cov Cath/Highlands week with the history of the football helmets during the span of their rivalry series. It includes all of the helmets in Cov Cath's football program history, with the exception of their very first helmet, since Cov Cath didn't play Highlands their first year of varsity football (1967). That season they had all-white helmets with a royal blue stripe down the center.

Awesome. I remember when you posted these, and it was a bit of inspiration. Just took me a while to get around to it. I’ll definitely add them. Thank you very much.

I'm not positive of the exact timelines, but I know this was New Cath's helmet from at least the mid 1980s, and they were using it again as of the 2000 football season.

These shoulder pads say 1990s all the way. Any idea which years they used this design?

Newport played with these helmets as early as 1976 (maybe earlier even) and then into the early-to-mid 80s.

This was New Cath's helmet from at least 1973 thru at least 1976.

New Cath 1983:

Holmes played in this one in at least 1982 and 1983:

Holmes played in this one in 1977 & 1978...the bulldog logo isn't easy to make out in this one, but it's different from the current. That was a red helmet with a white bulldog head.

They played from at least 1974 up to 1976 with this plain red helmet with a white face mask.

Lloyd played in these Steelers lookalikes from roundabout 1986 up until 1990 or 1991. Head coach Rudy Tassini was a die-hard Steelers fan. I don't think they had any logo on either side, initially, and then they added the L with the three diamonds in a circle on one side of the helmet, much like the Steelers logo.

Conner from the mid-90s...this was 1996. They just had a white helmet with "CHS" in blue lettering.
