This is a massive get for Kentucky for 2024 at Center.

This kid could still reclass to 2023 as that happens often.

Is it accurate that he wanted to but for academic reasons, he wasn't able to?

Yes the roster is now  full for 2023-2024  so he will be  the  corner stone of the 2024  class.

Don’t they still have one more scholarship open for this year? I would say if he does end up finishing his classes and decides to reclassify in August, that Cal would make sure they get him added. Even if that means a walk on loses their spot on the 15 man roster. 
 

Which I know they have reported that he isn’t going reclassify. However, I think it’s safer for them to just say that for now in case he doesn’t get the classes he has to get done this summer in order to be able to reclassify.

Yes, that is correct only 12 in use. That is unless they give a walkon one. From what I understand Somto is going to stay '24 as of now.
