If memory serves from the thread about Christian County and Hoptown consolidating, the 2023 season is intended to be the final football season for the two schools to play on their own before consolidating, correct?

Warren East currently has a game slated against Daviess County listed for August 18th. Not sure who CC's opener actually is! 

Franklin Simpson and Christian Co are playing at Warren East on August 18.

Good catch...thanks guys. I've got the original post edited to reflect the game against Franklin-Simpson in the J Allen Builders Bowl at Warren East. They're playing in the 6:00pm game, with Daviess County playing Warren East in the 8:00pm game.

Have confirmed, this will be the final season for the Christian County and Hopkinsville football teams, with the two consolidating to form the Hopkinsville Christian County Academy team for the 2024 season.

A little late to the party with the info, but I didn't realize that Blake Ladson stepped down as head coach mid-seasons last year for the Colonels. Per Scott Brown at YourSportsEdge, Zachary Self is the "interim" coach for the Colonels' final football season this year.
